Overview

Includes: Game drive, Walking Safari, Rhino encounter, Bush Breakfast, Tea/Coffee
This fully educational Livingstone safari game drive gives guests the chance to experience the bush on foot as well as in the car. A two hour walking safari provides a much different perspective on the bush and its wildlife. Itās really the smaller things that we miss from the vehicle that add to the experience. The thrill of tracking and learning how to identify the different animals from their signs, as well as interacting with big game on foot makes walking a great way to experience the bush.
Whilst elephants, giraffe and buffalo are prevalent in the Mosi-oa-Tunya, your experienced walking guides keep safe distances and understand the animal behavior well, with safety being our primary concern. Accompanied by an armed wildlife police officer, this Livingstone safari game drive combo is truly the best way to experience walking and driving in the bush. The safari includes a bush breakfast on the banks of the Zambezi and a supervised visit to the Rhino.

At Bongwe we do not subscribe to the “tick all the boxes” speed-safari like some of our competitors do. The bush and its wildlife are not there to cater to our needs and, sometimes, they just do not want to be found. Fair enough. It is therefore a pointless exercise in trying to find everything in a few short hours. Instead, we like to take our time, spend more hours in the bush and enjoy the sightings we do come across. Invariably, we end up seeing more and spending more time taking in the experience by doing it this way.
A Bongwe Safari is not just a safari, it is an experience to remember.
